    Episode 1: 1967 Number Ones part 1

Debut episode of the new podcast The Limey & the Yank - Steve Atkins and Blake Bennett talk about some of their favorite rock & roll from both sides of The Big Pond. They tackle the great debate: from the UK to the USA, who really knows how to rock?

    Episode 2: 1967 Number Ones part 2

In which we revisit The Kingsmen, and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick, and Tich have their moment. Emily Plays with Pink Floyd, I Saw Her Again with The Mamas and the Papas, and more hijinks are had.

    Episode 3: The Manchester Show

In which our heroes dedicate the episode to the many musical artists from Manchester UK; much talk is made about Mondays; and Steve ("The Limey") surprises us all with his all-time favorite Manchester-band pick. Enjoy!

    Episode 4: Potpourri

In which we get awkward about disco!
Dig in the Rolling Stones' attic.
Explain why Small Faces isn't just a Photoshop meme...
...and spend time with the family, namely The Mamas and The Papas.

Episode 5: Rock & Roll Controversy

"These kids these days, with their Internet and their free music..." We talk about what was controversial then and now. We look to the future, in the year 2525. And The Yank shows his inability to find the right French word to speak English. And what to do when you need an eraser for your Rubber Soul...

    Episode 6: Sounds Like Nilssen

We debate the merits of cribbing the Beatles, and talk about music becoming image with the rise of MTV. And we have very much fun reminding people of the genius of Harry Nilsson.

Episode 7: Sisters of Soul, part 1

Dashing from coast to coast, continent to continent, we bring you the lovely ladies of Motown and Soul and Rock & Roll. We get modern with Adele, surprise you with a Lulu of a young lady, and take the Friendship Train over River Deep and Mountain High.

Episode 8: Sisters of Soul, part 2

Amazing battling action! Juice Newton taken down by P.P. Arnold! The sordid tales of Mary Wilson's Stoned Love and Diana Ross' Love Hangover...the Three Degrees have nothing to do with Kevin Bacon--when will we see him again? All this and more...

Episode 9: Brothers of Soul, part 1

Continuing our Soulful saga, we switch gears to men who aren't afraid to make you get up & move. A Godfather and a Man in Black, and Otis Redding just Can't Turn You Loose--but he gets credit for trying. Join us!

Episode 10: Brothers of Soul, part 2

After all that unsavory talk about underwear, we pick up the pieces and move on, making some Small Faces about the Wicked Pickett and getting Righteous about Mustang Sally. The Yank's first car was a 1965 Ford Mustang--so he can relate. He never slowed that Mustang down though...

    Episode 11: Halloween 2017

It's Halloween and we pulled out all the stops--this one goes to 11! An epic nightmare an hour in length, with a little bonus bit at the end. We hope you enjoy it! And we hope you survive The Limey & the Yank Halloween Special...MuhahahaHAHAHAhahaaaa!!!

    Episode 12: Hair! part 1

The Limey looks for Gomer Pyle, Beehives and wigs abound, and the Pompadour leads to the Shag cut. Part 1 of a 2-part series!

    Episode 13: Hair! part 2

Wrapping up two part series about hair, more hair, and rock & roll, we wax poetic about the brave and the bald; ask the daring question: do Sir Paul and James May compare notes on hairstyles?; and leave you a punk rock anthem and a glimpse into the future.

Episode 14: Christmas Rock (the Christmas Special)

After ridding themselves of a hyperactive elf and a suddenly-gleeful Scrooge, our heroes find themselves filled with holiday spirit and eager to share. We get rock & roll Christmas tunes from both sides of the Big Pond, plus well wishes as The Limey & the Yank wrap Season One up neatly like a present, and start making New Year's Resolutions about Season Two.
